I select the best shop depending on your vehicle's specific needs, I prescribe the course of action, oversee the work and get you the best available price. I handle everything! Being a mechanic and in the business for over 40 years, I know the key to excellence in Repair & Maintenance. Although most shops won't turn away work and claim they can fix anything, each has 1 or maybe 2 areas in which they specialize. Knowing which shop to take your car to for a specific repair is the way to get fast, trouble-free repairs at the best price---a good solid job, you can feel good about and you know is right. This is where my service comes in. I know where to go for what, and because I bring in a lot of work, I get special prices.
So here's how it works:
When your car needs repair or maintenance, you call me. If it's a common request, I will give you a price right then over the phone. If I need to look at it, I'll set up an appointment at a shop nearby for an initial check to see what's needed. I then determine which shop I'll take your car to, for which repair, and how much it will cost. Next I will call you with a price and if I get your OK, great. If not, that's OK too - no charge
I will take your car to as many shops as I think is necessary, to get the job done right at the right price. This service costs no more than the way you're doing it now; in fact most of the time costs much less.
How I make my money:
I make my money in the difference between a good fair price that you'll pay and the discount I get from the shops for the volume of work I bring in, diagnosing the jobs and handling the customer for them. This way you have your own personal mechanic in the shop, looking out for your interests; protecting you!
